Senior Process Engineer, Mechanical Assembly, Night Shift

📋 Description

• Serve as senior authority on overnight floor; make autonomous escalation and downtime decisions.
• Mentor and set daily priorities for night shift technicians to hit production targets.
• Track OEE, yield, and cycle times to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Apply mechanical intuition to assess equipment issues and implement robust fixes.
• Document overnight issues to day shift engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Initiate CI projects on the floor to reduce waste and improve machine reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 4-7+ years in manufacturing/industrial ops; night shift leadership preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a technical team under high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with OEE, downtime tracking, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and automated equipment.
• High autonomy and sound judgment for real-time decisions.
