Senior Privacy Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as SME on privacy, data protection, and security across jurisdictions.
• Partner with engineering, product, and security on privacy projects.
• Draft privacy notices and update policies for global compliance.
• Provide privacy-by-design guidance to engineering, product, and HR.
• Respond to data rights requests from customers and employees.
• Draft DPIAs and monitor privacy law developments.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as attorney or counsel in tech.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA-CPRA.
• Experience with SOC2, ISO, HIPAA.
• CIPP/E or CIPP/US certification.
• Influence senior leaders to prioritize privacy.
• Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• CA state bar or in-house eligibility; or Ireland/UK qualified.
