Senior Privacy Counsel

📋 Description

• Advise stakeholders on privacy and data protection for Bandwidth products worldwide.
• Draft, review, and negotiate privacy terms with customers, vendors, partners.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and training for the Commercial Legal Team.
• Research global privacy laws, AI regulation, EU/UK regimes; provide practical guidance.
• Lead privacy by design reviews, PIAs, DP IAs, AI risk reviews, transfers.
• Manage privacy incidents and regulatory inquiries; support incident response protocols.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in privacy and data protection (in-house or law firm).
• Deep knowledge of GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy, EU AI Act, NIS2.
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into business guidance.
• Autonomous, discreet, with strong judgment on sensitive data.
• Proven ability to lead tasks and advise executives.
