- Own power system modeling/analysis for microreactor systems (grid-connected/islanded)
- Develop/maintain steady-state, dynamic, EMT models for gen, loads, protection, controls
- Perform power flow, fault, protection coordination, and stability studies under normal/contingency
- Evaluate behavior during disturbances (load steps, faults, breaker ops)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align models with hardware, control logic, delays, protections
- SIL/HIL and system-level testing to validate model fidelity and control performance
🎯 Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in power or control
- 5+ years power system analysis for generation, microgrids, or mission-critical power
- Experience sizing/integrating HV battery systems with power electronics
- Proficient with PSCAD, ETAP, PSS/E, Simulink
- Understanding inverter-based resources, grid-forming/following, droop control
- Experience analyzing stability, protection behavior, and fault response
