Senior Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain enterprise software products
• Collaborate with PMs and designers on solutions
• Partner with AI engineers to use LLM APIs
• Improve code quality, extensibility, scalability, and test coverage
• Make architecture and cloud decisions with engineers
• Develop and improve infra-as-code stacks, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Improve internal developer tools and workflows
• Provide feedback on team quality, tech stack, and stakeholder relations
• Troubleshoot issues across the application stack
• Mentor junior team members
• Participate in incident response and disaster recovery
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to boost productivity
• Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Comfortable with Python in core application code
• Experience building cloud-native apps with serverless tech (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB)
• Interest in enterprise software with strong customer empathy and UX
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Proficiency in AI tools in the SDLC (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) or API integrations
• Deep understanding of: Git, PostgreSQL, AWS CloudFormation/SAM, RESTful API design/docs, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Docker/ECS, AWS cloud engineering, and Agile lifecycle
