- Develop and maintain photonic LVS decks across multiple foundry technologies.
- Design and test device and parameter extraction for photonic devices.
- Troubleshoot LVS mismatches in analog and photonic circuits.
- Collaborate with design, layout, modeling, and infra teams to deliver tape-outs.
- Automated verification: regression tests and CI pipelines to protect legacy designs.
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Photonics.
- 3+ years LVS deck development for Calibre, Cadence, and/or IC Validator; troubleshoot LVS issues.
- Experience with photonics layout.
- Python-based layout experience; OO programming and NumPy/SciPy.
- Experience writing scripts in Python, SVRF, Tcl, Bash, and SKILL.
- Proficiency with Linux, Git, and software engineering best practices.
