Senior Packaging Design Engineer - China

📋 Description

• Lead packaging and label designs for ChargePoint products.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers and internal teams.
• Mentor packaging design engineers across sites.
• Manage packaging timelines, deliverables, and cross-site work.
• Conduct prototyping and testing to validate packaging performance.
• Establish design best practices and guidelines for packaging.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin; able to communicate technically in English with USA teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Packaging Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of packaging design engineering experience.
• Proficient in CAD; 5+ years of CAD experience.
• Knowledge of packaging materials (corrugated, plastics, pallets) and sustainability.
• Self-starter who can drive multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to travel in Asia to work with contract manufacturers.
