Senior Optimization Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and implement optimization models for VRP at scale.
• Translate business requirements into mathematical optimization models.
• Build production-grade optimization services (APIs/microservices) for routing.
• Leverage OR-Tools (CP-SAT and MILP) for complex optimization.
• Optimize solver performance for high-volume, multi-DC routing.
• Diagnose infeasibility and refine models for real-world constraints.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in optimization, OR, or mathematical modeling.
• Strong background in combinatorial optimization (CP-SAT, MILP).
• Production experience with Google OR-Tools in VRP and scheduling.
• Model complex real-world constraints in logistics and routing.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or .NET with solid fundamentals.
• Experience building scalable backends: APIs, microservices, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with databases, data pipelines, Docker, and async orchestration.
