Senior Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and optimize the Cisco-based CBO network (core to edge).
• Implement and maintain security controls per NIST SP 800-53 and Zero Trust with continuous monitoring.
• Engineer secure network access controls (802.1X, RBAC) and identity integration for Zero Trust.
• Manage routing, switching, and services (VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) with secure configs.
• Secure public-facing perimeter networks (firewalls, remote access) with hardened configs and monitoring.
• Implement monitoring and logging with SIEM/NDR integration for visibility.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Networking or related field (or equivalent).
• 8+ years designing and supporting enterprise networks.
• 5+ years in senior network engineering with Cisco environments.
• Extensive Cisco routers, switches, wireless, and management platforms.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust principles and RMF/NIST frameworks.
• Experience with 802.1X, identity-aware networking, and VPN/DNS/DHCP services.
