📋 Description

• Own and evolve Earnest’s Model Risk Management framework for all models.
• Lead end-to-end model validations from concept to monitoring.
• Partner with Data Science and Risk to improve methods and standards.
• Oversee model performance monitoring; identify risks and remediation.
• Deliver clear validation reports that drive risk decisions.
• Advise on model governance to balance speed and controls.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree + 7+ yrs in model dev/validation or 10+ yrs with BA.
• Experience in consumer or small business lending; fintech preferred.
• Hands-on statistical and ML models; Python and SQL proficient.
• Knowledge of regulatory model risk standards; pragmatic application.
• Strong judgment and cross-functional collaboration.
• Translate complex modeling to senior stakeholders.
