Senior Mechanical Engineer I

📋 Description

• Own mechanical system and subsystem development across lifecycle.
• Design durable mechanical solutions for fixed, portable, and mobile cUAS.
• Develop housings, structures, and mounting with focus on thermal performance.
• Apply structural and thermal simulation (FEA/thermal) to guide design.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvements.
• Solve real hardware problems by root-cause analysis and robust solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience in mechanical design and system integration.
• Experience with structural and thermal simulations (SolidWorks, Ansys).
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks) and production drawings.
• Hands-on skills with workshop tools and prototypes.
• Manufacturing processes and production design understanding.
• Clear communicator with ownership and collaboration.
