Senior Mechanical Engineer, High-Temperature Fluid Systems and Component Design

📋 Description

• Leads design and deployment of high-temperature fluid systems, integrating vessels and piping.
• Develops CAD models, drawings, and P&IDs for design reviews, analysis, and fabrication.
• Designs and guides selection of pumps, valves, heaters, filters and instruments with teams.
• Conducts thermal, fluid, and structural analyses to validate and optimize designs.
• Leads analyses and studies; prepares docs and presents to leadership, vendors, and reviewers.
• Leads design reviews and risk assessments; aligns direction and gathers feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Nuclear, or related engineering.
• 7+ years of R&D or industry experience in hands-on mechanical design in relevant industries.
• Experience designing large-scale tests, fluid handling systems, or complex systems.
• Experience leading system integration across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• 3D CAD design and fabrication/assembly drawings (SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk).
• Experience performing thermal-mechanical analyses and with FEA tools (ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus).
