Senior Mechanical Engineer (Apparel & Accessories)

📋 Description

• Lead mechanical design of WHOOP bands and accessories from concept to production.
• Drive product architecture decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Create and manage high-fidelity CAD models, assemblies, and 2D docs.
• Spearhead second sourcing and dual tooling to reduce supply risk.
• Define and execute validation test plans; perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical leadership during design reviews and supplier engagements.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field; M.S. a plus.
• 6+ years of mechanical design experience across full development cycles.
• Strong 3D CAD skills: SolidWorks, Creo; tolerance stack-ups/drawings.
• Experience with plastics, silicones, textiles, elastomers, metals, overmolding.
• Proven track record with global suppliers; qualification and ramp-up support.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with strong communication and organization.
