- Creating and managing BOMs, engineering docs, and 2D drawings with GD&T
- Building and iterating on 3D CAD models and tolerance analyses using SolidWorks
- Driving prototypes, DFM/DFX reviews, and design validation testing
- Working with domestic and international manufacturing partners to resolve production issues and improve yields
🎯 Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years mechanical design in consumer electronics or high-volume hardware
- Proficiency in SolidWorks with strong GD&T and tolerance stack-up
- Hands-on prototype fabrication, DFM, and mass production processes
- Familiarity with plastics, sheet metal, die casting, CNC machining, and adhesive joining
- Strong understanding of thermal management, structural integrity, and reliability testing
