Senior Material Program Manager

📋 Description

• Serve as primary Supply Chain interface for programs; manage long-lead procurement and risks.
• Develop and execute material strategies for spacecraft subsystems, launch components, and avionics.
• Lead early-phase planning with Engineering on BOM, manufacturability, and make/buy.
• Drive sourcing decisions and supplier selection by capability, cost, and schedule.
• Manage long-lead identification and procurement for space-rated electronics and hardware.
• Partner with Finance and Program Management on budgets, EAC forecasting, and health.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• At least six years in supply chain, materials, procurement, or PM, preferably in aerospace.
• Proven success managing complex BOMs and hardware procurement in space.
• Strong understanding of space-industry material challenges: long-lead, ITAR/EAR, quality.
• Able to influence cross-functional teams in a small, high-growth org.
• Strong budgeting, cost modeling, and program financial reporting.
