Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Prototype Quality

📋 Description

• Develop, validate, and implement IQC-to-delivery inspection methods.
• Identify new suppliers; assess capabilities and drive improvements.
• Procure on-time, in-spec parts for fast-paced R&D.
• Evaluate manufacturing methods, materials, tradeoffs for manufacturability.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in process/manufacturing/supplier quality with plastics, metal, or mechanical assembly.
• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of material specs, SPC, Cpk, ISO 9001.
• Experience with 8D, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing.
• CAD drawing development/review (GD&T, Special Characteristics).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
