Senior Manager, Software Engineering -Reporting

📋 Description

• Lead architecture and development of the next-gen Commerce reporting platform.
• Manage and grow a team of engineers; foster scalable data systems culture.
• Drive decisions across data pipelines, warehousing, APIs, and experiences.
• Partner with Commerce Home, Mobile, and Terminal teams to expand data access.
• Manage delivery across concurrent workstreams with high engineering standards.
• Develop team capabilities through mentorship, hiring, and process improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of people management; 5+ engineers led.
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript backend expertise.
• Experience designing data platform architectures: warehousing, pipelines, APIs.
• Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, and OLAP DBs.
• Balance technical leadership with people mgmt and stakeholder collaboration.
