- Lead monthly revenue and royalties close with internal teams.
- Own Technical Revenue Accounting policy and ASC 606 compliance.
- Review complex balance sheet reconciliations (AR, deferred revenue).
- Prepare audit support packs and respond to auditor requests.
- Drive process improvements and data workflows; automate with Excel/AI.
- Collaborate with FinOps, Supply Chain, Fulfillment, and FP&A.
🎯 Requirements
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience, 4+ years of people management.
- Ideally in entertainment, consumer electronics, ecommerce, or hardware; startup exp.
- Strong GAAP knowledge with ASC 606 and ASC 340-40.
- Advanced Excel and data skills; able to analyze large data sets.
- ERP systems experience (NetSuite incl NetSuite ARM); Blackline/FloQast bonus.
- Familiarity with Stripe, POSA/Gift Cards, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central.
- Experience with royalty contracts and calculations in consumer media/gaming.
- Audit experience and ability to manage external audits; scalable ops.
