Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead NZ regulatory engagement and licensing for our NZ entity.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to ensure compliance and productize solutions.
• Build and evolve Airwallex's global regulatory program across 3 lines of defence.
• Analyse products and guide 2LOD controls to meet regulatory obligations.
• Manage regulator interactions, licensing processes, and on-site inspections.
• Advise on regulatory change and develop compliance policies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor0Master0degree in law or equivalent compliance qualification.
• At least 10 years regulatory compliance experience in financial institutions/FinTech.
• Familiarity with ANZ rules and regulators (FMA, DIA) and NZ focus.
• Data proficient with ability to leverage data for decision-making.
• Strong time management, presentation, and stakeholder skills.
• Experience with licensing processes and RegTech or technology-driven compliance.
