Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team delivering core platform services (login, identity, auth, notifications).
• Own the Platform Development roadmap: auth, identity, authorization, AI runtimes.
• Define SLOs, on-call practices, and incident response with SRE/DevOps.
• Decompose legacy auth/IAM into well-bounded services, enabling passkeys and social login.
• Evolve notifications to a universal orchestration layer (OTP, security messages).
• Partner with Data and AI/ML teams to design a shared AI inference platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building and operating cloud-native backend/platform services at scale.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams.
• Deep AWS experience and modern architectures (microservices, event-driven).
• Proficient in one or more back-end languages: TypeScript, Go, Java, or Python.
• Led teams responsible for authentication, identity, authorization, or notifications.
• Comfortable with GDPR/DSAR, data retention, age assurance and policy integration.
