Senior Manager, Payroll

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end payroll for 500+ US employees; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead payroll operating model; build audit-ready framework; scale with AI.
• Hybrid role: 2-3 days/week at NYC HQ; collaborate with People Ops and Finance.
• Drive automation and AI-powered improvements to payroll processes.
• Coordinate payroll funding with Treasury and cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPP preferred; 7+ yrs payroll mgmt with multi-state.
• AI-forward mindset; actively use AI/tools to improve payroll and automation.
• US payroll tax law mastery; multi-state compliance; intl payroll a plus.
• Equity payroll experience: stock options, RSUs; tax withholding/reporting.
• Payroll internal controls, segregation of duties, SOPs; SOX readiness.
• Rippling or similar HRIS/payroll; implement new payroll tech and AI tools.
