- Drive the integration of multi-day energy storage packs, unifying mechanical and electrical designs.
- Act as technical liaison between sub-system design teams to align product vision.
- Apply systems-thinking to product architecture and design.
- Manage and grow a world-class team of integration and design engineers, including career development.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers at Form Factory to ensure the product is designed for high-volume manufacturing (DFM).
- Work with cross-functional partners (supply chain and field services) to deliver a comprehensive pack product.
What you'll bring:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; with 10+ years of industry experience
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and mentoring direct reports
- Experience designing for high-volume manufacture in a hardware product development company
- Experience defining products and engineering requirements, and implementing FMEA principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Energy storage / large industrial equipment / high power product experience is a plus
