Senior Manager, IT SOX Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end IT SOX program: risk assessment, scoping, control design, ITGCs/ITACs evaluation.
• Liaise with IT and Engineering control owners to ensure clear ownership, timely execution, and remediation of gaps while maintaining SOX independence.
• Primary contact for external auditors; coordinate testing and remediation of IT deficiencies.
• Improve program maturity via data analytics, automation, and tooling for continuous monitoring where appropriate.
• Provide independent oversight of IT remediation efforts; assess root causes and validate effectiveness.
• Partner with the Director of SOX to deliver SOX updates and metrics to leadership and the Audit Committee.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information systems, accounting, or related field.
• Certification in Auditing/InfoSec such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA.
• 10+ years of IT SOX audit or risk management experience with SOX/ITGC knowledge.
• Big Four or equivalent experience as a SOX IT program leader in public companies.
• Experience with technology-intensive companies or platform marketplaces.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits, ICFR, and integrated audits.
