Senior Manager, Hedge Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead hedge accounting across ASC 815 and IFRS 9 for managed services clients.
• Own hedge deliverables: documentation, designations, testing, disclosures, audits.
• Develop the Derivative Accountants team and scalable workflows/templates.
• Guide clients through hedging structures to qualify and optimize outcomes.
• Translate FASB and IASB updates into actionable client/internal impact summaries.
• Lead audit support with external auditors on complex hedge matters.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA required; advanced degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
• 10+ years in accounting; 7+ years in derivatives hedge accounting (ASC 815, IFRS 9).
• Proven experience building and leading accounting teams.
• Deep fluency in ASC 815 and IFRS 9, including elections, testing, disclosures.
• Strong understanding of derivatives across asset classes: swaps, FX forwards, options.
• Experience with hedge accounting platforms (Ripple Treasury, Chatham, Reval, FIS Quantum) or similar.
