- Review/approve hedge docs, designation memos, objectives, and testing.
- Oversee effectiveness assessments (regression, dollar-offset, hypothetical).
- Guide clients in structuring hedges to qualify and optimize outcomes.
- Translate FASB/IASB updates into clear summaries for clients and teams.
- Lead audit support at Director level with external auditors.
🎯 Requirements
- CPA required; advanced degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience; 7+ years in derivatives.
- Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
- Deep fluency in ASC 815 and IFRS 9; practical hedge elections and testing.
- Strong understanding of derivative instruments across asset classes.
- Experience with hedge accounting platforms (Ripple Treasury, Chatham, Reval, FIS Quantum).
