Senior Manager, Export Controls

📋 Description

• Refine export controls strategy and operating model.
• Own export classification and licensing for controlled tech data, software, hardware.
• Lead the design and operation of compliant controlled environments.
• Partner with Research and Infrastructure for efficient researcher access within boundaries.
• Develop durable classification and control models with technical teams.
• Translate policy into documented controls, logging, and exception handling.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, CS, physics, international trade, law or policy.
• Experience leading export controls or trade compliance in high-tech domains.
• Deep expertise in classification, licensing, end-use restrictions and related controls.
• Direct experience in advanced computing and semiconductor controls.
• Strong leadership and track record in fast-moving tech companies.
• Ability to translate policy into workflows, service levels, and outcomes.
