Senior Manager, Engineering, Knowledge Graph

📋 Description

• Lead the Knowledge Graph team and graph infrastructure, ingestions, and AI retrieval.
• Define and drive strategy to integrate curricula, learning science and standards into scalable systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Learning Science, and Partnerships on data and platform infrastructure.
• Establish architecture, reliability, security, and ops practices; foster collaboration and inclusion.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and senior technical talent.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering; experience leading and scaling teams.
• Deep expertise in data engineering, knowledge graphs, search/retrieval, or AI/ML infra.
• Vision and pragmatism to drive AI adoption across engineering and Learning Commons.
• Strong technical judgment and communication; balance long-term investments with near-term delivery.
• Passion for education and building mission-driven technology that supports teachers and students.
