Senior Manager, Direct Tax AI Systems and Operations

📋 Description

• Design recurring direct tax workflows with AI tools, prompts, light scripting, and controls.
• Use AI to accelerate income tax analysis, documentation, mappings, and exception handling.
• Build and maintain lightweight tools, templates, runbooks, and validation checks.
• Partner with tax, finance, data, and technical teams to improve tax processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and data quality issues to drive repeatable improvements.
• Define when AI can speed up work vs when human review or controls are required.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant tax experience.
• Experience in income tax operations or income tax systems.
• Comfort with complex spreadsheets, structured data, reconciliations.
• Comfort with SQL, Python, or similar lightweight tooling.
• Ability to write or adapt light code or scripts for workflow automation.
• CPA preferred.
