Drive close acceleration; remove bottlenecks; shorten cycle time with accuracy
Ensure all close deliverables are audit-ready with documentation
Oversee SOX control prep and remediation of gaps
Write and own accounting policies/SOPs; design controls; enable automation (Claude)
Lead a high-growth accounting team; coach, hire, and review work

🎯 Requirements

Active CPA license (required)
Big 4 audit foundation
Experience coaching junior accountants; direct reports
Experience designing and operating SOX controls
Hands-on ownership of close: reconciliations, JEs, variance
Depth across ASC 842, ASC 718, payroll, assets, cash
