Senior Manager, Accounting

📋 Description

• Own monthly/quarterly close, set standards, review work, provide guidance.
• Coach and mentor team; provide feedback and growth opportunities.
• Oversee offshore subsidiary accounting; manage timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with FP&A to align actuals, forecasts, and assumptions.
• Implement policies to ensure GAAP-compliant transactions.
• Lead acquisition accounting and onboarding of new entities.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years accounting; 3+ years Big 4; 2+ years in industry.
• 3+ years of people management or supervisory experience, with a track record of leading and developing teams.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA.
• Experience owning accounting for capitalized commissions.
• Exposure to M&A, foreign subsidiaries, post-acquisition integrations.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and SOX; apply guidance in practice.
