Administer and install storage infrastructure: DASD, tape, VTL, encryption, replication.
Create and oversee backup jobs and assist migrations.
Manage storage pools for multiple customers and LPARs.
Perform problem diagnostics and resolution.
Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of Mainframe Storage Support experience.
Extensive IBM storage software: Copy Services Manager/Global Mirroring, SMS, HSM, IDCAMS, DFDSS.
Experience preparing and implementing Disaster Recovery plans.
Expert knowledge of catalog structures, LPARs, and sysplexes.
Extensive knowledge of DASD hardware configurations with replication.
