Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Speech Recognition (ASR)

📋 Description

• Train and fine-tune ASR models at scale with dataset strategy.
• Build validation/evaluation frameworks (WER and analysis).
• Deploy and operate ASR inference services with reliability.
• Optimize latency and throughput (batching, profiling).
• Build APIs/services in FastAPI, Kafka, Triton; run on Kubernetes.
• Own core ASR components; set best practices; cross-team collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Python programming; production-grade code.
• Hands-on ASR experience: train/finetune end-to-end models.
• Design evaluation approaches (WER, error analysis).
• Deploy/operate ASR services in production; performance and reliability.
• Build ML systems with pipelines, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Clear communication across research, engineering, and product.
• Master’s degree in CS/engineering/math/statistics/physics or equivalent.
• Nice to have: multilingual ASR, streaming inference, healthcare privacy; Go.
