Senior Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and deploy ML models over omics data (genomics, transcriptomics).
• Integrate diverse biological signals from omics databases into pipelines.
• Develop foundation models for biology (sequence, expression, multi-modal).
• Design ML systems for a biological knowledge graph (genes, proteins, pathways).
• Apply graph learning methods (embeddings, message passing) to biology.
• Lead ML decisions, mentor engineers, and define best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, math, ML, bioinformatics, or related.
• 2+ years tech lead experience in production ML environment.
• Hands-on with omics data and omics resources.
• Familiar with omics and biomedical databases.
• Strong experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience applying NLP/LLM techniques to scientific text.
