Senior LNG Freight Analyst

📋 Description

• Identify, research, and report on LNG freight market developments for Kpler Insight clients.
• Develop in-house models to analyse ton-mile demand, freight, and trade patterns.
• Produce actionable insights via reports and commentary on LNG freight trends.
• Track commissioning, scraping, upgrades, and FSRU conversions across LNG fleet.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance LNG freight market coverage.
• Engage with clients, media, and industry to promote research and insights.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience analyzing and modelling freight, commodity, or shipping markets.
• Proficient in analysing complex datasets with advanced Excel and data handling.
• Coding experience with SQL, Python, or VBA for data analysis and model development.
• Knowledge of global LNG supply-demand fundamentals and LNG freight interactions.
• Strong understanding of LNG shipping, vessel types, route economics, and trade flows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; experience delivering high-quality reports and insights.
