Senior Liability Claims Adjuster, Complex

📋 Description

• Investigate and document claims involving liability exposures and litigation proceedings
• Conduct policy reviews, take statements, assign inspections, manage reserves, negotiate settlements on high-severity losses
• Communicate claim updates and decisions verbally and in writing
• Handle claims in compliance with regulations and internal processes
• Provide technical expertise and serve as SME for claims-related projects and mentor staff
• Support catastrophe response as needed, including potential overtime

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of property and/or liability claims experience
• 3+ years of homeowners or commercial liability and litigation claim handling experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Complete understanding of Section II of a homeowner’s policy
• Adjuster licensed in home state or holds a non-resident license
