Senior Legal Counsel, APAC

📋 Description

• Negotiate complex APJ contracts, incl SaaS, software, and data privacy.
• Manage strategic and high-priority transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with regional Sales leadership and stakeholders to move deals forward with clear guidance.
• Navigate country-specific contracting norms in APJ, including Japan.
• Advise on cross-border structures and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Develop and maintain APJ-focused templates and playbooks.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. or equivalent with active bar membership.
• Experience in commercial and tech transactions across APJ.
• Skilled negotiating complex APJ agreements; familiarity with Japan.
• Comfortable handling cross-border transactions with outside counsel.
• Able to identify legal risk and provide business-focused guidance.
• Experience improving or creating contract templates and playbooks.
