Senior Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Own and advise on commercial agreements, including SaaS and technology contracts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify risk and support business decisions.
• Advise on employment matters: covenants, confidentiality, disputes, terminations.
• Support M&A and investments: diligence, risk review, deal docs, governance.
• Manage disputes, vendor issues, customer escalations, and pre-litigation matters.
• Advise on compliance, data privacy, IP, confidentiality, and brand protection.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and Tennessee license, or ability to become licensed promptly.
• ≈7+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house or firm).
• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Clear, practical guidance to executives and operators.
• Experience with M&A, employment, corporate, or governance matters.
• Manage outside counsel effectively.
• Interest in AI-enabled workflows and scalable tools.
• Nashville-based candidates strongly preferred.
