Act as primary legal adviser for IMC’s Hong Kong office on regulatory matters.
Advise on HK and APAC regulatory developments, focusing on SFO/HKEX.
Monitor regulatory issues across financial services, tech, IP, data privacy, and employment.
Lead review and negotiation of financial markets contracts and technology arrangements.
Identify contractual and operational risks; develop mitigation with the business.
Support M&A and joint ventures to expand APAC footprint.

🎯 Requirements

Law degree with strong academic credentials.
15+ years PQE; HK solicitor admitted; PRC experience desirable.
Business-level English and Mandarin required.
Deep knowledge of financial services law and regional commercial/corporate law.
Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex financial services and tech contracts.
Top-tier firm and in-house experience in regulatory and transactional work on exchange-traded products.
