Senior Launch Welder

📋 Description

• Fabricate and weld structural systems for Terran R launch site.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, prints, and blueprints for fit-up.
• Weld carbon steel (A514), stainless, and aluminum; MIG, FCAW, TIG, stick.
• Operate fabrication tools including grinders, mag drills, saws, and cutting equipment.
• Assist with structural assembly, alignment, and field installation.
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams for safe, repeatable processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of structural welding, steel fabrication, or equivalent.
• Experience with MIG, FCAW, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience fitting and fabricating structural steel assemblies.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 lbs safely.
• Ability to operate hand tools (drills, grinders, mag drills, saws).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklift, reach-lift, man-lift).
• Nice to have: AWS structural welding certifications.
