Senior Inventory Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare month-end inventory balances and COGS summaries.
• Support month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review perpetual inventory; investigate discrepancies and adjust.
• Coordinate inventory transactions with 3PL partners.
• Partner with merchandising/operations to cut variances in invoice pricing and receiving.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation for external audits.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 3+ years inventory accounting or 3-5 years general accounting.
• Advanced Excel (Index/Match, PivotTables, Lookup, Macros).
• Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus; SQL and BI tools a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote team.
