Senior GNC Engineer - Flight Controls & Autonomy

📋 Description

• Develop and improve flight control, guidance, and navigation algorithms for high-speed aircraft.
• Design control laws, estimation, and sensor fusion for autonomous and piloted flight.
• Build high-fidelity vehicle dynamics models using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Run 6-DOF simulations, Monte Carlo analyses, and regression tests to validate robustness.
• Integrate software/hardware across flight controls, navigation, and avionics; lead tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces and system architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in GNC, flight controls, autonomy, estimation, robotics, or related aerospace systems.
• Strong fundamentals in dynamics, linear controls, stability, and modeling/simulation.
• Experience developing or integrating flight-critical algorithms for aircraft, spacecraft, or autonomous systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, or similar tools.
