Own end-to-end data quality and coverage for DPP markets, flows, geographies
Lead complex data investigations, identify root causes, and fixes
Perform large-scale data validation, ingestion, and backtesting
Act as Data Ops focal point for DPP with Data Scraping, Product, and Engineering
Proactively identify gaps in data coverage and drive improvements
Leverage market knowledge to challenge data and guide corrections

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Energy, Data Science, or related field
5–8 years of experience in oil markets
Strong understanding of global trade flows, shipping, refinery dynamics
Proven experience with large, complex datasets and data quality improvements
Advanced data handling skills - Excel (Advanced), SQL (Intermediate), Python (Basic to intermediate)
Deep understanding of data flows, data processing, and validation methodologies
