Senior FPGA Architect, Control Systems

📋 Description

• Develop a custom microprocessor for waveform generation and control logic.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software to define architecture and interfaces.
• Implement, simulate, and verify designs including DSP pipelines and high-speed I/O.
• Optimize latency, resource usage, and robustness for production.
• Develop and maintain testbenches, verification flows, and CI.
• Support bring-up, lab validation, and debugging with Quantum Engineering.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in FPGA design and development for complex mixed-signal systems.
• Experience architecting a new design from the ground up.
• Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL with toolchains (Xilinx/Intel/Altera).
• Strong understanding of processor architecture and/or digital signal processing.
• Experience with high-speed serial interfaces (PCIe, JESD, SERDES).
