Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer

📋 Description

• Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer responsible for producing code-compliant, constructible fire sprinkler designs from concept through permit approval and construction support.
• Self-directed designer with NFPA knowledge and experience using AutoSprink and Revit in a production environment.
• Design and layout fire protection sprinkler systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, pumps, and tanks using AutoSprink (AutoCAD) and Revit.
• Coordinate sprinkler piping with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and convert design dimensions into fabrication-ready measurements.
• Prepare design submittal packages and manage approvals, permits, and field coordination.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of fire protection design experience.
• Proven experience with AutoSprink and/or Revit.
• NICET Level III–IV certification in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D and related standards.
• Experience with BIM coordination and designing fire sprinkler systems across multiple system types and manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards and applicable codes (IFC, IBC, NEC).
