Lead or support design and layout of automatic fire sprinkler systems per NFPA and codes.
Generate fire suppression specifications for water-based systems.
Perform hydraulic calculations, take-offs, and system sizing (fire pumps and controllers).
Review sprinkler shop drawings and design drawings for systems.
Act as the owner's representative during design, construction, and commissioning.
Coordinate with AHJs for permitting, reviews, and approvals.

🎯 Requirements

Five or more years of experience in fire protection system design or consulting.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD or similar software.
Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and life safety standards (NFPA 13, 14, 20, 25, 10, 16).
NICET Water-Based Systems Layout Certification preferred; Level IV strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and report writing.
