- Attend incident scenes; document evidence; interview witnesses.
- Investigate origin, cause and development of complex cases.
- Liaise with experts and other interested parties.
- Produce high-quality, detailed technical reports.
- Provide expert witness evidence as required.
- Record case activity in Jensen Hughes case management system per SLA.
🎯 Requirements
- Relevant experience in fire investigation, fire engineering, or forensic science.
- Professional body membership advantageous but not essential.
- Practical experience is essential; academic background flexible.
- Strong analytical skills; apply scientific approaches to forensic examination.
- Strong communication skills; clear written and verbal.
- Frequent travel across UK and Ireland; current driving licence.
