Establish and track FinOps metrics like unit cost, utilization, efficiency gains.
Conduct monthly deep-dives on major cost drivers; propose optimizations.
Administer FinOps tools for cost allocation, showback, and visibility.

🎯 Requirements

3+ years in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or similar.
Deep understanding of cloud billing/pricing models (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
Experience administering or using cost monitoring/observability tools; Datadog licensing knowledge preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor management.
