Senior Equipment Engineer, Operations

📋 Description

• Own the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
• Define and implement OEE and equipment performance metrics to identify loss drivers.
• Translate downtime trends into problem statements and execution plans.
• Lead equipment-focused improvement projects: mechanical, tooling, fixturing, and layouts.
• Create CAD designs to address reliability, ergonomics, and throughput.
• Root-cause, system-level responses coordinating mechanical, electrical, and controls.
• Support installation, commissioning, and ramp of new equipment (design reviews, FATs, SATs).
• Optimize equipment parameters and station configuration in collaboration with production and quality teams.
• Provide hands-on floor support and establish standards to reduce issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience; Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment such as furnaces, web/powder handling, mixers.
• Demonstrated experience with equipment engineering and system ownership.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
• Able to collaborate across equipment, controls, manufacturing, quality, and ops.
