Senior Engineering Manager, DevEx

📋 Description

• Lead four DevEx teams: Caproni tooling, observability, performance, analytics.
• Drive a Kubernetes-first platform vision for cloud and on-prem deployments.
• Guide decisions on environments, packaging, tests, and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to ensure DevEx aligns with platform architecture.
• Manage remote team health, coaching, prioritization, and accountability.
• Define roadmaps with milestones and success metrics tied to platform goals.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading remote engineering teams through change and ambiguity.
• Strong Kubernetes platform background with Services, CNI, API Gateway.
• Working knowledge of Helm and containerized delivery models.
• Experience with self-managed/on-prem or bare metal (OpenShift/OpenStack/Proxmox) vs cloud.
• Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs and contribute to platform architecture.
• Performance management and coaching, including personnel decisions.
