Senior Engineering Manager, Core Pricing

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and grow a backend team; foster accountability and ownership.
• Own team execution across quarters; ensure uptime, accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Guide technical strategy across legacy and next-gen pricing systems.
• Ensure changes are production-safe, observable, and validated; maintain SLAs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Risk, Servicing, Analytics, and partners.
• Use metrics like reliability and latency to align priorities with impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years of direct people management.
• Experience managing managers and leading 20+ engineers.
• Strong executive presence; data-driven influence across teams.
• Ownership of systems with reliability, latency, and correctness.
• Experience in fintech, pricing, lending, or real-time decisioning.
